Greeting and Aim
1. Приветствие и сообщение темы и цели урока.
Т: Good morning, pupils! Our aim today is to test your listening skills.
Warming up
2. Введение в иноязычную атмосферу.
Т: You remember the proverb «А Friend in Need Is a Friend Indeed», don't you? The story «The Lion and the Mouse» proves it. Let us dramatize the story. We need three people: the story-teller, the lion and the mouse. Work in groups of three and produce the story in 5 minutes.
Учитель разделяет класс на группы. Ученики одной группы инсценируют историю. Класс оценивает работу товарищей.
II. ОСНОВНАЯ ЧАСТЬ УРОКА
Listening Comprehension
1. Аудирование.
Выполнение контрольной работы по аудированию. Прослушивание текста «The Ant and the Dove» и выполнение упр. 1, 2 (с. 61), 3 (с. 62) в рабочей тетради.
На доске записаны слова с переводом:
ant - муравей;
dove - голубь;
to shoot (shot) - стрелять;
to hunt - охотиться;
to bite (bit) - кусать.
Учитель читает текст, ученики внимательно слушают и выполняют задания.
THE ANT AND THE DOVE
One very hot day an ant was walking in the forest. He was very thirsty, because it was very hot. He went to the river to drink. But he fell into the river. The ant couldn't swim. What could he do?
A white dove saw the ant and wanted to help him. She took a leaf and dropped it near the ant. The ant saw the leaf and climbed on it.
The next day a man was hunting in the forest. He looked at the tree and saw the white dove. The man was going to shoot the dove, but the ant ran to him and bit his leg. The man jumped and didn't shoot.
Later the dove saw the ant in the forest and he told her that he bit the man's leg. The dove was very happy, because the ant saved her life. The ant told the dove, «One good turn deserves another».
