УРОК 54

Тема. Самые популярные виды спорта

Цель:

· совершенствовать навыки устной речи и аудирования по теме;

· формировать грамматические навыки во время повторение Past Simple Passive;

· развивать познавательный интерес и эстетическое восприятие окружающей среды;

· воспитывать умение работать в парах и группах, чувство взаимопомощи во время обсуждения дискуссионных проблем.

III. Основная часть урока

a) Проверка выполнения домашнего задания “Sports and injuries”

d) Tao exercise 6. “The Robot”

Start from the balanced position. On the in-breath slowly raise your right leg till the thigh forms a right angle with the lower leg. Left the lower leg hang loosely. At the sametime raise your right arm till the lower arm forms a right angle with the upper arm. On the out - breath slowly return to the starting position. Your hand should reach bottom at the same time as your foot touches the ground. At this point your lungs should be empty.

e) Answer the following questions about winter sports and games.

Are winter sports very popular in our town / region / country?

What winter sports are the most / the least popular? Why?

What winter sports do our pupils go in for?

Are there proper facilities for these sports?

What are the results of Russian athletes during various winter competitions? Do you know why?

What countries are the winter sports highly developed in?

How to improve situation with winter sports in Ukraine?

Which sports do you like, winter or summer? Why?

What technical facilities for winter sports would you like to have at school? Give your reasons.
