УРОК 21
Тема. Пища, которую мы употребляем. Какая она?
Цель:
· совершенствовать навыки письменной и устной речи с употреблением лексико-грамматических структур Present и Past Simple Active;
· формировать навыки употребления грамматических структур с определениями качеств пищевых продуктов;
· воспитывать внимание, умение четко выполнять инструкции учителя;
· развивать наблюдательность, языковую догадку, элементы анализа и самоанализа.

II. Подготовка к иностранного вещания
Фонетическая и речевая зарядка.
III. Основная часть урока
а) Проверка домашнего задания. Рецепты любимых блюд
b) Упр. 1, с. 38 - read and guess the meanings of adjectives in bold type.
Lemons are sour.
Pepper is bitter.
Ketchup is spicy.
Sea water is salty.
Sugar is sweet.
c) Bпp. 2, c. 38 - read the definitions and match them with the words that describe textures of different foods.
cooked with too much oil - greasy
firm, making a sharp sound when you bite - crispy
needs to be chewed a lot - chewy
pleasantly hard and dry, firm and fresh - crunchy
thick and smooth like cream - creamy
d) Bпp. 2 (b, c), c. 39 - match the pictures with the words denoting texture.
Look through the menu. Say which of the food are spicy, salty, sweet, creamy etc.
e) Bпp. 3, c. 39-40 - read the story and answer the questions.
Do you think this story is true?
What is the texture of his foods?
What do you think the taste of metal, glass, tablecloth is?
Why did the man become the world's greatest omnivore?
What else would you eat if you were Mangetout?
What is your idea of his becoming an omnivore?

f) Learn some expressions to be used in the dialogues of your own.
He enjoys having big (square, substantial) meals.
