Подтема: Семейное хобби.
Цель: Повторить и обобщить грамматический материал темы.
Развивать умение аудирования.
Продолжать формировать навыки устной речи.
Развивать коммуникативные способности учащихся.
Тренировать учащихся в чтении.
Закрепить изученный грамматический материал на письме.
Расширять знания учащихся о детскую литературу.
Воспитывать у учащихся интерес к чтению.
Оборудование: Учебник, рабочая тетрадь, карточки с заданием для аудирования (HO1), текст для чтения «Beatrix Potter» (НO2).
ХОД УРОКА
И. ПОДГОТОВКА К ВОСПРИЯТИЮ ИНОСТРАННОЙ РЕЧИ
Greeting and Aim
1. Приветствие и сообщение темы и цели урока.
Т: Good morning! I am glad to see you! Today you are going to listen to a short story about a hobby in a boy's family. You will also read how a hobby of a little girl became her profession.
Warming up
2. Введение в иноязычную атмосферу.
Впр. 4 (с. 111).
Учащиеся прослушивают песню в аудио-записи или в исполнении учителя, повторяют слова, следя за текстом, потом хором поют.
II. ОСНОВНАЯ ЧАСТЬ УРОКА
Listening Comprehension
1. Представление текста для аудирования. Впр. 1 (с. 110).
Беседа с учениками.
1) Pre-Listening Activity. Этап подготовки к аудированию.
Т: Now, pupils, open your books at page 110 and look at the pictures and questions of exercise 1. What can you see in the pictures? What is the first question? Answer it, please. Now read the other questions. Can you answer them? Why not? Because you haven't listened to the story. Be attentive now and in a short while you'll be able to answer the questions.
2) While-Listening Activity. Этап аудирования.
Учащиеся прослушивают текст в аудио-записи или с голоса учителя и выполняют задания на карточках.
I enjoy reading books. Pm lucky i've got a big library at home. I like to read about sports and sportsmen. Pm reading an interesting story about hockey now.
My father likes to read about football. He's got a lot of books about that game.
My sister is fond of animals. She likes to read about them. She has got books with funny stories and fables about animals. I gave her a present yesterday, a very big interesting book about animals at the zoo. There are a lot of funny stories in it.
My mother is interested in history. So she spends her free time with a book on history. I can say that reading is my family's hobby.
HO1:
Match the family members with the books they like to read.

По окончании работы один из учеников записывает на доске ключ, остальные класса проверяет. Учитель контролирует правильность выполнения задания.
3) Post-Listening Activity. Этап проверки понимания содержания текста.
Учащиеся отвечают на вопросы упр. 1 в режиме Г 
Class. Затем по цепочке пересказывают текст, опираясь на вопросы.

2. Проверка домашнего задания.
Т: I hope you've done your homework, haven't you? And your letters prove the proverb «Tastes differ». Look at exercise 3 on page 111 and repeat the proverb. And now imagine that you are sending your letters and I am the lucky person because i'll be reading them.
Учитель собирает тетради с домашним заданием на проверку.
Grammar Practice
3. Тренировка учащихся в выполнении лексико-грамматических упражнений.
РЖД, упр. 12 (с. 79).
Ученики самостоятельно письменно выполняют упражнения, затем обмениваются тетрадями с соседом по парте и проверяют задания. Далее один из учеников читает упражнения вслух. Учитель контролирует правильность грамматического строения предложения и исправляет ошибки в случае их наличия.

4. Представление текста «Beatrix Potter» для чтения.

В. POTTER
(1866-1943)
Many years ago there lived a small girl in a large house in London. Her name was Beatrix. Her parents did not ask other boys and girls to come and play with their daughter.
Beatrix had only animals for her friends. She had dogs, cats, frogs, and a rabbit. Beatrix played with her animals and talked to them. The animals understood the girl and loved her very much. Beatrix wrote stories about her animal friends and told those stories to her little brother, her parents and their friends. She drew pictures for her stories, too.
Time went on. Beatrix was not a little girl, but she still wrote* stories about animals and drew pictures for those stories. She knew her animals so well that they were like people to her.
In 1900 Beatrix published her first book. The title of the first book was «The Tale of Peter Rabbit». Then she wrote a lot of little books and she made pictures for them. Children read Beatrix Potter's books and liked them very much.
So the hobby of a small girl помог положить her to find an interesting profession.
