MY FLAT (3)

 

First of all i'd like to tell you that we live in a new 9-storeyed block of flats not far from the centre of the town. It is situated in a picturesque and rather quiet place. Our flat is on the fourth floor. There is a big supermarket on the ground floor and it is very convenient to do everyday shopping. Our flat has all modern conveniences: central heating, running hot and cold water, electricity, gas lift and chute to carry rubbish down.

Our flat is very comfortable and well-planned. There are three rooms-, a kitchen, a bathroom and a hall in our flat. We also have a balcony and we can enjoy a lovely view of the park.

The living room is the largest and most comfortable room in our flat. In the middle of the room there is a coffee table. To the left of the coffee table there is a comfortable sofa with two armchairs. To the right of the coffee table there is a wall-unit, which has several sections: a sideboard, a wardrobe and a television. In the left-hand corner there is a small table with the CD player on it. In the right-hand corner there is a standard lamp. There is a thick carpet on the floor.

The walls of the living room are pink and there are some watercolours on them. In the evening we draw the curtains across the window and a red lampshade gives a warm and pleasant colour to the room. We like the living room best of all, because in the evening we gather there to have tea, watch TV, talk and rest.

The bedroom is smaller than the living room and not so light, but it is also very cosy. There are two beds, a dressing table with a big mirror and a wardrobe. On the dressing table there is an alarm clock and a small lamp.

Our study is big enough for me and my little sister. There are two beds, a wardrobe, a desk and several bookshelves. To the right there is a piano and an armchair.

Our kitchen is large and light. It is well-equipped. We've got a refrigerator, a microwave oven, a coffee maker and a toaster. We haven't got a dishwasher yet, but we are going to buy it.

I like my flat very much and it is a real truth that there is no place like home.

МОЯ КВАРТИРА (3)

 

Прежде всего мне хотелось бы сказать, что мы живем в новом девятиэтажном доме, недалеко от центра города. Он расположен в живописном и очень тихом месте. Наша квартира находится на четвертом этаже. На первом этаже есть большой супермаркет, что очень удобно для ежедневных покупок. В нашей квартире есть все современные удобства: центральное отопление, горячая и холодная вода, электричество, газ, лифт и мусоропровод.

Наша квартира удобная и хорошо спланированная. В нашей квартире три комнаты, кухня, ванная и холл. У нас также есть балкон, откуда можно наслаждаться красивым видом на парк.

Гостиная - самая большая и удобная комната в нашей квартире. Посередине комнаты стоит кофейный столик, слева от него находится мягкая софа с двумя креслами. Справа от журнального столика располагается стенка, в которой есть несколько секций: сервант, шкаф и отдел для телевизора. В левом углу стоит маленький столик с музыкальным центром. В правом углу находится торшер. На полу лежит толстый ковер.

Стены гостиной розового цвета, и на них висит несколько акварелей. Вечером мы запинаємо занавески, и красный абажур окрашивает комнату в приятный теплый цвет. Нам очень нравится гостиная, потому что вечером мы собираемся здесь выпить чаю, посмотреть телевизор, поговорить и отдохнуть.

Спальня меньше гостиную и не такая светлая, но она тоже очень уютная. Там находятся две кровати, тумбочка с большим зеркалом и шифоньер. На тумбочке стоят будильник и маленькая лампа.

Наша комната достаточно большая для меня и моей сестры. Там находятся две кровати, шкаф, письменный стол и несколько книжных полок. Справа стоят пианино и кресло.

Наша кухня большая и светлая. Она хорошо оборудована. Там стоят холодильник, микроволновая печь, кофеварка и тостер. Мы еще не купили посудомоечную машину, но собираемся купить ее.

Мне нравится наша квартира, и действительно нет в мире лучшего места, чем дом.
