УРОК 92

Тема. Повторения. Почему нужно изучать иностранные языки?

Цель:

· совершенствовать навыки письменной и устной речи из изученных тематических лексико-грамматических единиц;

· закрепить изученный лексико-грамматический материал на письме;

· практиковать учащихся в ММ за проблемными ситуациями;

· развивать коммуникативные способности учащихся, элементы логического и критического мышления.

Фонетическая и речевая зарядка.

III. Основная часть урока

a) Упр. 1, с. 161 - read the newspaper article and discuss the questions.

Would you like to participate in such a program?

What is necessary to become a participant of it?

Do you think it's possible for astronauts to meet aliens?

When and how do you think it will happen?

Why does the travel in space have to continue?

What do you know about the work of international crew?

Would they represent our planet with honour. Why?

What did all the events demonstrate?

Are they planning other space mission? When and how?

b) Bпp. 2, c. 161 - to become a member of an international team you should know English. Do you agree to some opinions about learning English?

Explain why:

It does not matter how many mistakes you make if people understand you.

You haven't learned English properly if you don't sound just like a native speaker.

If you want to learn English successfully you have to know British or American culture.

c) If you want to have a good command of English you should:

· have a profound knowledge of English school curricula;

· use every opportunity to brush up and master your English;

· try to communicate in English wherever you are;

· listen to various video and audio sources of instruction;

· read different English books, manuals and magazines;

· study English at international summer camps, language school and courses;

· go to an English speaking country to live in a family of native speakers and bearers of language;

· регулярно look through English dictionaries and thesauri;

· use the Internet language teaching sites;

· find at least 30 minutes to read to sleep at night;

· realize that English is not fashion but a must.

d) Bпp. 3, c. 161 - listen (tapescript 58, p. 203) and put the bits of advice in the correct order.
