Тема. Пресса о кино и театр
Цель:
· совершенствовать навыки письменной и устной речи с употреблением лексико-грамматических структур Present и Past Simple Active;
· формировать навыки употребления грамматических структур с модальными глаголами и определениями качеств человека;
· воспитывать внимание, умение четко выполнять инструкции учителя;
· развивать наблюдательность, языковую догадку, элементы анализа и самоанализа.

II. Подготовка к иностранного вещания
Фонетическая и речевая зарядка.
III. Основная часть урока
a) Проверка выполнения домашнего задания “The development of film industry”
b) Bпp. 1-3, c. 112 - choose one of the following topics to.
produce a commercial for newspaper / magazine / television
act out a puppet show
produce a film review magazine
c) Read the following extracts from film review magazine and comment on them.
...There are all kinds of movies. Movies that entertain, that frighten, that excite, that thrill, that move that make you laugh and that make you think...
...Strong, extremely moving and beautifully directed and acted.
...An extremely good film, a throwback to an earlier kind of film - making that now almost seems brand-new.

d) ’The First Night”
A prominent British playwright George Bernard Shaw visited the first-night performance of his new play. The show was a great success. After the play the spectators applauded for a long time and Bernard Shaw had to go to the stage. When the ovation died out one of the man from the gallery cried out very loudly, “Mr. Shaw, the play was bad!” Bernard Shaw thought for a second and replied. Children, what do you think of the playwright's answer? Can you suggest your own variants? Do it in turns!

“I am fully with you, sir, but what are we two against so many?”)
