At present, the Vinnytsia Region is one of the largest agricultural and industrial, cultural and historical regions of the independent state of Ukraine.

The new region was founded on the 27th of February in 1932 and its territory makes up 4.5 per cent of the territory of state.

It is situated in the central part of the Right- Bank Ukraine and borders upon seven regions of Ukraine.

To the south-west of Vinnytchina along the river Dniester, the area of 202 kilometers presents the frontier with the Republic Moldova.

According to the administrative division, the territory of the region consists of 27 districts and the regional centre consists of 3 municipal districts.

The population of Vinnytchina is about 2 million people.

Nowadays, Vinnytchina is a region of industry and highly mechanized agriculture, with a scientific basis.

During the two recent years Vinnytchina became one of the 5 best regions of independent Ukraine on gross output.

According to the gross output of agricultural production, the region takes the second place in the state.

На сегодня крупнейшая Винницкая область сельскохозяйственная и промышленная, культурная и историческая область независимой Украины.

Новая область была основана 27 февраля 1932 года, и ее территория составляет 4,5 % территории государства.

Она расположена в центральной части правобережья Украины и граничит с семью регионами Украины.

На юго-западе от Винницы, вдоль реки Днестр в течение 202 километров, проходит граница с Республикой Молдова.

Согласно административного деления территория региона состоит из 27 районов, а областной центр состоит из трех городских районов.

Население области составляет более 2 млн. человек.

Сейчас Винниччина является областью промышленности и высокомеханизированного сельского хозяйства с научной базой.

За последние два года Винниччина стала одной из пяти лучших областей независимой Украины по выпуску валовой продукции.

По выпуску сельскохозяйственной продукции область занимает второе место в стране.
