Kamianets-Podilskyi is one of the oldest cities of Podillia, Ukraine and Europe.

The city stands out on the high banks of the Smotrych River and is fortified by high stone walls, old towers and bastions.

Every historic period changed the topography and architecture of the Old Town.

Here we can see Orthodox and Catholic temples.

The Turks even built their own church during their 27 years reign of Kamianets-Podilskyi.

But in spite of this strange mixture of buildings of different ages and styles the architecture of the city is an example of historic development and unity.

And there are more than 60 historic architectural relics in Kamianets-Podilskyi among which the fortress with its numerous towers and a stone (Turkish) bridge which connects the fortress with the Old Town and takes a particular place.

It connects years and centuries.

Of course, every city, every village merits a separate detailed story.

Yet the world knows little about them.

In spite of all different historical circumstances, natural culture, literature and the spirit of the nation have not died.

Город поднимается на высоких берегах реки Смотрич, укрепленный высокими каменными стенами, старыми башнями и бастионами.

Каждый исторический период менял топографию, архитектуру Старого города.

Мы можем видеть здесь православный и католический храмы.

Турки даже построили в Каменец-Подольском свою церковь во время своего 27-летнего господства.

И, несмотря на странное смешение зданий разных веков и стилей, архитектура города является примером исторического развития и единства.

В Каменец-Подольском есть более 60 исторических архитектурных реликвий, среди которых крепость с многочисленными башнями и каменным (турецким) мостом, что соединяет крепость со старым городом и занимает особое место.

Он соединяет годы и столетия.

Конечно, каждый город, каждое село заслуживают отдельную подробную историю.

И все-таки мир мало о них знает.

Несмотря на различные исторические обстоятельства, национальная культура, литература и дух нации не умерли.
